Jack a man possessed by demons? In other words, is "The Shining" about a haunted house filled with real ghosts, or is Jack a madman nudged toward dementia? Even deeper...does the hotel do this to Jack because Jack came to the hotel, or was Jack's destiny tied to the hotel before he even realizes it?
