This year you will learn about many facets of film: ability to view, discuss and analyze films, the basic history of film, analyze film-making techniques, write criticisms about films, and evaluate the impact and influence of films on society.
Some reminders about the Institute -
Please be on time for class, participate in class, be enthusiastic and attentive, hand in your assignments on-time, and try your best.
The first week we will be going over the course syllabus, expectations, grading policies, your interests and knowledge of films, and the beginnings of film in the late 19th century.
This blog will be used for many of your assignments, articles, videos, and other valuable information concerning both the Film History and the Film Writing and Criticism classes.
