By this point, I’m pretty sick and tired of hearing about politics and want to throw myself out of a moving vehicle every time my dad starts to go on one of his rants. I’m republican, yes, and conservative, yes, but that doesn’t mean I agree with EVERYTHING some of the other republicans agree on, or other conservatives. Each side has its ups and downs really, I just tend to side more with the conservatives rather than the liberals on most topics, but should I be outcast from my friends and teachers because of that? Or rather be left out of the conversations in fear that I might argue my point of view. Maybe it just makes me different from everyone else when I say this (or just ‘normal’) but I think we should just stop arguing and move on with life as well as except each side. Whatever happened to: “To each their own”? I feel like we’re so wrapped up in politics and arguing that we’re forgetting to look at the bigger picture. Regardless of whether you’re republican, democrat, constrictive, liberal, independent, green party, or whatever else there is, and regardless of what religion you follow we all technically end up in the same place.
Maybe that was a bit off topic of the original point of the video but I felt I needed to get that off my chest and express my own personal views on what is going on right now. Sorry.
Good job, Britt...very well said. Don't ever feel like you should hide your opinion from social settings. "It is the discourse of politics, not the politics themselves that make us a democracy." You know said that? Me. But it could've been Lincoln...true.
I will post something in the interest of equal time.
Wow.

So true, where did you get this video anyway?
