  1. Yeaaaaaaaah. Not to excited about many releases this summer... I think there's a total of 3-4 movies I'm interested in and this definitely doesn't make it on that list. I assume I'll be one of the few but that's cool with me.

  4. James... I'm so close to going to see that with you. It'll be a joke neither of us will be willing to step down from until its too late and there's no turning back.

In all seriousness, here are my picks for the summer-

  5. Oh dear..I came on here expecting for the comments to be super excited about Harry Potter..not exactly the case. Too bad! I can't wait for it, and as for the splitting of the 7th book into two movies..go for it. There's no way the screenwriter can cut out details, and now audiences will have a way to hold on to the series a little while longer. But I just love HP, so of course I anticipate any further means of getting a fix.

  6. Yeah, the HP movies have been slowly getting further and further away from the series. Unless they seriously do something about it, the last movie will have very little similarities to the book. It just seems that every time I go see the new HP film, I get disappointed. It's like they're just pumping out movies as fast as they can before the kids get too old.

    DEAD SNOW, CAN'T WAIT :] <3

  10. Hi...we're alumni and bitter artsy fartsy types that look down on major release pictures with popular appeal...mwah. Blah. Bleakity blah blah blah.

oh and btw...I hate where the HP series is going as well.

  11. Wahhh I'm a teacher who thought an 8 page paper was much too long for our summer assignment...... yeah no clue where I was going with that one.

While I'm an artsy fartsy type, that spends his nights watching Woody Allen and Scorsese films, I do like big block busters... if they have some appeal. Last summer I went 10 of the blockbusters- Hellboy II, Hancock, The Incredible Hulk, Ironman, The Dark Knight (3 times), Pineapple Express, Narnia 2, Indiana Jones 4, Get Smart, and Wall-E. I'm fairly certain I enjoy good blockbusters... I just don't think Wolverine will be done well, Harry Potter and Star Trek I have no interest in, and Transformers 2 seems like a waste since I've saw them big on screen fighting two summers ago. So what I'm trying to say is... this summer sucks. We need more good superheroes movies or something.

  15. GUYS stop picking on Costal! He can play with his Harry Potter dol- I mean, action figures, as much as he wants. :b

If Halloween 2 make's more than $10,000,000 opening weekend, I will give Alex ten bucks.

  16. Well, "Halloween" made over $30 mil. opening weekend, so be ready
because when I win, you won't have to pay me, but you'll have to say "BANG, BANG" like I've been asking you to for over a year.

  19. James and Paul, those were the worst Costal impression I've ever read. Let me try one:

I'm a high school English teacher and I like to make fun of hippies, despite the fact that politically I'm not too different from one. John Lennon or Vlad Lenin? I love em both! ...Literally. OMG PEARL JAM!!!!
