28 Days Later (2002)

Okay, i know that the zombies in 28 Days Later are not zombies in the technical sense of the word but this is my favorite zombie movie. What makes these zombies different and so scary? The running. They can run. As in like, run. Thats what gets me. Because when you think of the classic slow moving zombie you are like, alright i can just jog away. Not in this oneee. I do here a lot of crap about this being my favorite zombie movie because the people are infected. Which is why they are technically not zombies but whatever, if you watch this movie i'm sure you will like it.

  2. I am a firm believer that this IS a Zombie movie!
I mean, just because they don't fit the Romero-archtype doesn't mean they're not Zombies...
Anyways, Zombies or not, Great movie!
    Terrific sequel too, surprisingly...

  6. no other infected movie can top 28 days later
    my absolute favorite
and i agree zombies and the infected are different
since one is the living dead and the other is still alive but controled by a virus
28 days later is a classic but they went overboard with 28 weeks later. i just didnt like all the sence of military control in it. the first one it was just a group of people who are trying to survive. in the second one they actually have an objective and its not fun knowing whats going to happen next. still im hoping the third comes out soon. if i comes out at all.

  7. so the third one is what '28 months later'?! lol.. too much time.. i like the idea of keeping it in days/weeks.

  8. it's probably going to be called something lame, like "28 days... in paris!"

  9. Danny Boyle has said that they have plans for a third film (which IS titled "28 Months Later"), but the production date and everything is still uncertain.

  11. great movie...sequel was terrible...absolutely unwatchable. What was great about the first one was the twist in the middle. Romero himself probably really loved the whole "what we fear most is us!" sensibility. Huge let down with 28 Weeks...Part four is called "28 Years Later" and it's all about a little robot who cleans up after the zombie apocalypse, but see, one day he finds this little plant, and...
